James Jenkins

James Jenkins is the Founder and CEO of RiskWell located in McKinney, Texas. He leads a team that has become a nationally recognized industry leader in delivering solutions for real estate investors and hard to place trade, general and prime contractors. James holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations, and will complete the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2022.

He serves as an advisor for multiple insurance industry vendors and carriers and as a keynote speaker on the subjects of technology implementation, and commercial lines sales and marketing. James is the host of the Agency Freedom Podcast which has more than 4,000 monthly downloads and helps agency principals and team members migrate from the captive agency channel and thrive once they are on the independent side of the industry.

James is on mission to help lead and drive evolution in technology, automation and workflow innovation in IA retail agencies across the country. During his personal time, James enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two young kids.
